By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan’s mission to get a new stadium continues and another important meeting took place this morning, according to a report.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews, this morning there was a meeting between the president of Milan, Paolo Scaroni, and the mayor of the city Beppe Sala. During the talks, the former provided the latter with some updates on the road map that will lead the Rossoneri to presenting their project for the La Maura racecourse area.

The meeting of course occurs a week after Milan owner Gerry Cardinale visited Sala himself as well as the president of the Lombardy region Attilio Fontana.

On that occasion the Milan owner expressed his willingness to continue the new stadium plans in an area other than that of San Siro because of all the bureaucratic delays there, asking for a period of about two weeks for the presentation of the project.
