AC Milan have had some time to recover their energy during this international break, which is important with the derby scheduled for next Sunday. As a result, they will have tomorrow off.
Ismael Bennacer, Franck Kessie and Ballo-Toure have been on international duty at the AFCONs and they haven’t had as much rest. The former, however, returned for Milan’s game against Juventus and has been ‘resting’ since.

Kessie is expected to take part in the training session on Monday while Ballo-Toure has sustained an injury. Nevertheless, Milan will have a training session this morning and it will be the last one of the week.
After a good week of training, it makes sense to give the players a day off. There is still plenty of time to prepare for what will be a crucial fight with Inter. The Rossoneri dropped down to third after their draw vs. Juve and want to change that.
