Jovan Kirovski is set to become the new technical director of AC Milan, according to a report, and he could be joined by Donato Lomonte as the sporting director.
For the last four weeks, Gerry Cardinale has been looking for a new management. Ruben Amorim has been hired as the head coach, but after talks with Markus Krösche stalled, the director’s casting was brought to a halt.

The idea of opting for an internal solution has gained momentum in recent days, with Kirovski at the helm of that solution. The current Milan Futuro sporting director is eager to take the step to the first team and by the sounds of it, he will.
Two new directors
According to Nico Schira this evening, Kirovski is set to be promoted to technical director for the first team. He has a great relationship with Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who in turn vouched for the American in the talks with Cardinale.
However, Milan still need a sporting director as Kirovski doesn’t have the necessary qualifications from the FIGC to hold that title. Therefore, the current chief scout Donato Lomonte is set to be promoted to sporting director, seeing as he holds that licence.
It remains to be seen if the Rossoneri still view this as a temporary solution, or if they will alter their initial plan for the new Milan organisation.
