Schira: Milan have five-year deal ready for Chelsea defender with talks planned over €28.5m fee

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have a five-year deal ready for defender Fikayo Tomori and are now looking to negotiate with Chelsea, according to a report.

Tomori arrived at Milan in January on a six-month loan from Chelsea, where he had been struggling to get playing time, and the Rossoneri managed to include an option to buy in the deal which now looks a very tempting possibility.

His performances have been nothing short of excellent since his arrival at the club, as he has established himself in the starting line-up. Milan’s hopes of keeping the Englishman were boosted recently when the 23-year-old said he feels ‘at home’ with the club.

According to the latest from Nicolo Schira on Twitter, Milan want to sign Tomori on a permanent deal and they have a five-year contract ready to offer to him. Now, the Rossoneri management are working to reach an agreement with Chelsea. There is an option to buy, but Milan would like to negotiate the €28.5m fee agreed downwards a bit.
