Schira: Milan have ‘other priorities’ as they decide against deal for €20m Man Utd defender

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan will not have Diogo Dalot next season as the defender will return to Manchester United once his loan expires, according to one journalist.

Dalot joined the Rossoneri back in the last summer transfer window on a season-long loan with no option or obligation to buy included, meaning Milan will have to negotiate should they wish to keep him beyond June.

Metro reported earlier today that Milan have opened talks with United over a permanent deal for the 22-year-old, and an ‘informal’ offer of £12m (€14m) has been launched by the Diavolo.

According to what Nicolo Schira is reporting on Twitter, Dalot will leave Milan at the end of the season and will go back to Manchester United once his loan deal expires. The price of full-back is deemed too high by the Rossoneri as the Red Devils want €20m and Milan also have other priorities at the moment.
