While Milan are in a crucial phase of the season, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are already working in view of the next campaign. When it comes to the summer transfer window, you need to be very prepared.
The directors are always looking for good deals on the market and with the summer coming up, there will be some players out of the contract. Florian Thauvin is one player the Rossoneri are keen on, but he’s not the only free agent on their list.
According to Nico Schira, Milan are in advanced talks with the agent of Otavio, the 26-year-old attacking midfielder who plays for Porto. In fact, they have even tabled an offer worth €3m per year until 2025.
It sounds like a high salary, and it is by the Rossoneri’s standards, but because no transfer fee would be involved it’s certainly feasible. In the meantime, Stefano Pioli will have to turn things around on the pitch, after a tough spell.
