Schira: Milan in talks to secure signatures of defender and midfielder – the details

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are currently working on getting the signatures of two players who have become absolutely immovable over the last few weeks and months, according to one journalist.

Nicolo Schira is reporting on Twitter, that Milan are trying to sign Fikayo Tomori from Chelsea on a permanent basis. He adds that Rossoneri would like to negotiate the €28.5m option to buy fee downwards a bit, but the Premier League side don’t want to give any discount. Talks are ongoing in the hopes of finding an agreement for a player who has been remarkably impressive.

Meanwhile, he is also reporting that Milan are in talks with Frank Kessie to extend his current contract, which expires in 2022. Today Milan met his agent George Atangana, and Kessie is asking for a new contract until 2026 at €4.5m net per season year, basically double what he currently earns. The Rossoneri offered a salary of €3.5m and in the next meetings the parties will try to reach an agreement.
