Schira: Milan in talks with intermediary over Real Madrid forward and are ‘confident’ of deal

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are in talks with an intermediary over keeping Brahim Diaz and positivity is reportedly filtering regarding the operation, a report claims.

Brahim Diaz arrived from Real Madrid during the last summer transfer window on a season-long dry loan deal. He struggled to get consistent starts in any competition but towards the end of the season he stepped up with some valuable contributions – such as a stunning opening goal in the 3-0 win over Juventus – which has led to suggestions that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will try to keen him.

According to journalist Nicolo Schira on Twitter, the intermediary Edoardo Crnjar is in Milano and talks are in progress with Milan to extend Brahim Diaz’s loan from Real Madrid. There is more good news for the Rossoneri too as Schira writes that the 21-year-old wants to stay at Milan, while the club are ‘confident’ that they will reach an agreement.
