Schira: Milan offer three-year contract to Borussia Dortmund midfielder with response awaited

AC Milan have offered a three year deal to young Borussia Dortmund midfielder Vasco Walz and are awaiting a decision, it is claimed.

The 16-year-old is currently under contract until the end of the season and could leave Dortmund, with Milan sniffing an opportunity to bolster their youth ranks. Predominantly a central midfielder, the teenager has played for Germany at U17 level.

MilanNews reported earlier in the month how a meeting is planned between the Milan management and Vasco Walz’s agent, Hector Peris, who will arrive in Italy in the coming weeks to try to a the definitive agreement over his transfer.

According to journalist Nico Schira on Twitter, Milan are indeed interested in welcoming Walz into their ranks and have offered a three-year deal to the BVB midfielder, but Dortmund are working a new contract. The player and his agent will take a decision in the next few days, as per Schira.
