Schira: Milan smile as they could pocket €6m from Frosinone midfielder’s transfer

AC Milan are keeping a close eye on the situation of Marco Brescianini, who looks set to leave Frosinone this summer. As most of you might know, the midfielder used to be part of the Rossoneri’s academy and even first team on occasion.

Milan parted ways with Brescianini last summer as he was sold for a mere €200k to Frosinone. However, as highlighted today by Nico Schira, the Rossoneri included a 50% resale clause in the deal and that’s partly why the actual transfer fee was so low.

This decision is especially important today as Atalanta and Napoli are battling it out over the 24-year-old, after what was an impressive first season with Frosinone. The latter are asking for a fee of €10-12m to sell and Milan could thus pocket €5-6m this summer.

It would allow the Rossoneri to register an even higher capital gain for the midfielder and it could be an important boost on the mercato. It could perhaps prompt them to increase the offer for Youssouf Fofana, who remains the primary target to reinforce the midfield.

In any case, Milan are watching the Brescianini negotiations closely and as soon as there is an update on the matter, they will know about it.
