Samuel Chukwueze’s future at AC Milan could well be up in the air after just over a year at the club, and a journalist has claimed there is interest from abroad.

Chukwueze had a great preseason under new head coach Paulo Fonseca, but the fact that Christian Pulisic is in red hot form makes him undroppable at present and the Nigerian winger is not performing brilliantly when he is getting minutes.

Fonseca offered some insight during a press conference in view of the Lecce game and issued a challenge to him of sorts, but that in turn has led to suggestions that he might leave the club when the window reopens in January, with a number of different teams linked by a recent report.

According to what is being reported by Nicolo Schira, a club from the Saudi Pro League have already ‘asked for information’ on Chukwueze and they received an encouraging response as Milan did not close the door.

In fact, the Rossoneri management ‘could really evaluate and open the door to his sale’ if an offer in the region of €18-20m were to arrive, which is around what they paid Villarreal to sign him last summer (with €8m in potential bonuses).
