With a coach like Massimiliano Allegri, there is surely more desire to sign his players, rather than alternatives in the mercato. After all, he is a proven winner, so why not back him properly? Well, it seems like the Rossoneri may not be doing so.
Allegri overshadowed?
According to Nicolo Schira, one of his and the Diavolo’s targets, Dusan Vlahovic, could arrive this week. However, he claims, on his X account, that the management are not actually listening to the former Juventus coach…
“If they [the management] listened to Allegri, Vlahovic would be at Milanello on Tuesday. But after Xhaka-Ricci, Leoni, etc., it seems to me that the coach’s requests aren’t being listened to too much from the Casa Milan side…”
Considering the situation with a striker, if Milan do not go for Vlahovic now, then there will be some serious questions.
this after they sold for 200 million euros, sold some of our best players and were perfectly able to accommodate his requests.
Ricci was not Allegri signing. Milan was negotiating for Ricci way before Allegri was an option for a new Milan coach. Xhaka and Ricci play in the same position and Allegri definitely wanted Xhaka, plus as we saw yesterday he didn’t play Ricci.
Now Vlahovic, Leoni and most likely Rabiot are/were his wishes
They stopped the deal and then Allegri cane and said to get him. He also wanted Vlahovic and Leoni signed. But we got some Temu versions like we always do with Redbird.

If they signed Xhaka, Ricci wasn’t happening.

There’s a massive amount of journalists supporting Vlahovic (or Juventus to get rid of him). Are they all going to receive a part from the 15 mil signing fee Vlahovic keeps asking? If we bring Vlahovic, pay him gold and we don’t reach our goals, the entire project will be disturbed for years as it’s not easy to get rid of a player like Vlahovic. If Jonathan David doesn’t deliver a promising performance tonight, perhaps Juve will want to keep Vlahovic after all.

This is what I have been saying for months. You get what the manager wants, not Temu versions of those players and pretend that is the same. You can’t blame the manager if he doesn’t get the players he wants. Conte did not win the title with spare parts, Napoli got him who he wanted, payed 40M for 31 year-old Lukaku and gave him a big contract. Why? Are they stupid? Tare is a 3rd place sporting director, bargain finder, he has no experience getting top players. If we got Berta it would be completely different.

As has been explained to you, Allegri wanted Xhaka, who is at mighty Sunderland, Rabiot and Vlahovic, which are both slow. Jashiri and Ricci are in no way, shape or form, Temu versions, they are international class players. Allegri has a year, if he tanks, he’s fired so of course management aren’t going to get everyone he asks for, that didn’t even happen under Sacchi, Cappelo and Ancelotti. Management are rightly looking to the future.
Considering allegri wants players like vlahovic, rabiot, xhaka I’d be ignoring those request too.
