Yesterday afternoon, Ruben Amorim sat to take his first press conference with the AC Milan media and it has dominated the papers this morning.
In an instance where a new manager takes control, it normally dominates talk in the Italian papers. So, waking up this morning to see Amorim and Milan plastered all over the covers is not really a surprise. However, when looking at his words, it is clear why.

We have already done a deep dive into the words said by both Amorim and Gerry Cardinale at yesterday’s press conference, so it may be worth starting there if you don’t have the time to watch the interview back.
Speaking generally, though, there was a lot to like. The Portuguese stated his ambitions, whilst admitting that he was a flawed coach in Manchester. Then, there was a bit of talk about key players and more…
Here is the roundup of the front pages!

whilst i wish cardinale left, im glad that since he doesnt want to sell , he actually is starting to understand football and get more into it.its the best option given he will remain and as long as we get good football i dont mind
Anale Zlatkovic
Oga, stop this nonsense and speak English. This’s not your village meeting.
It is very important to note that he wasn’t saying it would be this coming season. And the ‘dominate’ was regarding style of play, not domination of the league.
Realistically Milan still didn’t do anything big.
They spend huge on Ramos player we dont know his contribution in Serie a.
Gila is good addition to team, and we knew how Amorim finished really bad in Manchester United.
When will milan fan appreciate this team or be contented for once ? 🤦♀️🤦♀️
Don’t mind that auntie, whining is her specialty.
i look at it from the bright side.
1. Ramos is good. i guess if we would’ve gotten prime Messi, you would’ve also question his “contribution in serie A” ? Every signing is a gamble, Liverpool brought a ton of talent last year (even Isak from a PL team) and they struggle.
2. Amorim did finished bad at ManU. my counter argument is, so did everyone else since Ferguson. ManU has been a mess for years. I always give it a second thought to coaches and players who stuggle at ManU (and chelsea for that matter). VanGaal, Mou, Moyes (who re established his reputation), etc. They didnt suddenly forgot how to coach, just like diMaria, Sancho, even Sesko, they didnt forgot how to play. Tactics matter and having players buy into your system matters. We shall see if the players Amorim gets buy into his system.
Your points are valid though.
Give the coach a chance, Luis Enrique was horrible at Roma but look at him now.
I see the moon 🌙 😂…
Sincerely I find it difficult to differentiate between FANS and Activists??? There are some people in this platform, never appreciate/ appreciated anything. Forza milan! Forza milano!! Can’t wait to start seeing the Quality of our New strikers without Rafael Leao.
