AC Milan clinched a 1-1 draw away at Roma last night but the Rossoneri still feel that they lost two points. The top-four race is extremely tight and Luca Serafini believes a pattern has emerged in the last few weeks.
Milan at the very least avoided Roma getting head-to-head advantage, but they will still fill disappointed to not have won the game. The truth, however, is that the Rossoneri struggled to create chances all game and only had one shot on target.
Speaking to MilanTV, as cited by MilanNews, the pundit Luca Serafini shared his thoughts on the last few weeks and what Milan have been lacking. He believes Milan are too reliant on Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud.
“Leao? It’s Milan’s greatest strength but also their greatest weakness, because he can’t do everything. Milan have been clinging to Leao and Giroud in the last few weeks. Unfortunately, Origi and Rebic have not been what we expected,” he stated.
Milan will take on Cremonese next week and will then face Lazio at the weekend. The first is a must-win but the latter will be a tough one for the Rossoneri, but at least they will play at home.
