AC Milan are gearing up to take on Cagliari tomorrow evening and it will be yet another crucial clash in the Scudetto race, of course. A clash that Luca Serafini believes the Rossoneri will be able to handle quite well.
Milan are currently three points clear at the top, with Napoli in second and Inter in third. The latter’s game-in-hand doesn’t matter as much anymore as the Rossoneri are four points ahead, meaning they have everything in their own hands.
Speaking live on Sky Italia, as cited by MilanNews, MilanTV pundit Luca Serafini shared his thoughts on the Rossoneri’s task. He stated that out of the Scudetto contenders, the Rossoneri are the best suited to face Cagliari.
“Against Spezia, I saw an unrecognizable Cagliari but it’s the same team that deserved to beat Napoli. The strength of the stadium and Mazzarri’s desire are certainly obstacles. Milan, however, are the ones [out of Scudetto contenders] that can break open such games in the best way.
“Against teams with hybrid situations like Salernitana, or Udinese and Sassuolo, Milan are struggling. However, they know they will have to go and play a great match tomorrow and they will do it,” he stated.
Hopefully, Serafini is right as a lot could happen tomorrow. Napoli and Inter will both play before Milan so if any of them were to slip up, the pressure would be on the Rossoneri claim all three points.
