AC Milan are still looking for the right centre-back at the end of the winter window, and Sergio Ramos’ name has once again been put forward.
Calciomercato.com confirm that Milan are in search of a versatile, experienced and strong central defender to reinforce the department for Massimiliano Allegri. For this reason, Chelsea’s Axel Disasi has been cast aside, while Atletico Madrid’s José Maria Gimenez and Tottenham’s Radu Dragusin have been linked.

Ramos on the radar?
Corriere della Sera put forward the candidacy of the former Real Madrid and Sevilla man Sergio Ramos, who was released from his last contract with Monterrey (a team playing in Mexico) on 31 December 2025 and has been linked before.
The 40-year-old centre-back is still without a team and could be a temporary solution for the next six months, therefore at least until the end of the current season. He is hoping for a final World Cup with Spain in 2026.
The Spanish newspaper AS reports that the latest team to make an offer for Sergio Ramos is Al Quwa Al Jawiya, a club that plays in Iraq’s top division. However, there is a rival bid on the table from Ramos, as per the source.
“The offer made to Spanish star Sergio Ramos is 100% genuine and sincere. It was made by the club’s management and his agent gladly accepted it. We are still waiting for the player’s response to Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya’s contract offer,” they state.
“We have also learned that AC Milan has entered the game and offered the Spanish defender a salary of five million dollars . Therefore, we are continuing negotiations and awaiting the player’s official response.”
If this pulls through, then the title challenge is on

Based on your comment it seems that you are describing your current state.
Inter are rolling. Thats a fact. They have 8 points advantage over Milan, they are in better form and they have better players and better squad than Milan. Milan has problems getting points vs lesser teams and their best players are constantly injured.
That’s not complaining, thats called reality. Try noticing that, it is necessary.
They are definitely favorites and they do indeed have the squad with most depth but it isn’t over yet considering we have 1 less match played. Things can fairly quickly change but we will also have to start mustering some sort of longer lasting winning form at this critical point of time while also beating them. Far from over yet but it will not be an easy task either. I still think we have the chance to win the scudetto but time shall tell.
Inter have a history of collapsing near the end but with how we perform against smaller teams Inter definitely have it in their hands to lose again but the year we won the scudetto they had it in their hands too

Ramos is a leader, which we desperately need in defense. These are the types of players who will make everyone around them work harder and player on a higher level.

Ramos WAS a leader. 3-4 years ago. Take a look at his career the last two years. He’s no Modric. We don’t need a new “leader” in defense. Our defense has been very tight as it stands.

Ramos is yet another example of a hugely successful player with deep, deep technical and mental flaws.
It really shows that there’s no simple explanation as to why players succeed.

I remember calling for the signing of Palhinha and Goretzka for our midfield. I’m glad we’re finally looking at Goretzka who would be a fantastic addition, i think we will get him in the summer for free.
Now, they also need to also sign Palhinha in the summer as well and Morten Hjulmand (or one of them) to complete a powerful midfield capable of holding it’s own in the CL.
Palhinha and Hjulmand to replace Fofana and RLC in the squad while Goretzka would be the immediate hier to Modric making Jashari his understudy.
