AC Milan have a number of stars that need to be nurtured further and a Serie B club has come forward, seeking to help the Rossoneri.
There is a need for Milan to protect certain futures. After all, if you throw players into the deep end too soon, it could stall their careers massively, if not end them at this level. So, there needs to be a level of protection there.
Of course, the Rossoneri already attempted this with the Futuro. However, the temptation to have certain players in and around the first team proved too great, and the squad suffered. So now, the drawing board has to be revisited.
Serie B step up?
With Serie C being a struggle and Serie A being a nice level, weirdly, the club may consider a loan to Serie B for a few players. However, you would imagine that, for Francesco Camarda and Davide Bartesaghi, there are hopes of Serie A loans or being part of the Diavolo squad.
In the case that a drop-down is needed – or step up from Serie C, whichever way you look at it – interest is already present, as Gianluigi Longari states, via Milan News.
“Spezia is working on building the team for next season. They also like Bartesaghi and Camarda from Milan, who are reportedly being asked to come on loan.”
Certainly not a bad move for the duo, considering they almost were promoted. However, you would expect Milan to aim higher, respectfully, with their loans and/or positions.
Better for Camarda to be at a top Serie B club with plenty of attacking than in a struggling Serie A club playing long ball. Still would prefer to keep him as one of three.

And there’s the BS they keep spewing at us. Young players are sooooo fragile. They need to be nurtured and pampered until they die of old age. Too weak to play with the big boys! Better be safe and play with the amateurs. Better buy some old washed up players quick!!
Except this doesnt apply in Spain, only Italy. This “experience” mindset has go to go.
Not only in Spain, but also France and England.
It would be much better for these boys to go to the Championship in England or the SPL. Both leagues are very physical.
