Sesko’s agent offers update on his client’s future amid Milan links: “A very good proposal”

AC Milan have held a serious interest in Benjamin Sesko for an extended period, and today, his agent has offered an update about where his future may lie after revealing some key information about the interested teams.

The striker scenario is puzzling for Milan. Several names have been suggested, and two front-runners are in place, though the preference is still unclear. Benjamin Sesko and Joshua Zirkzee have been intertwined with the No.9 shirt rumours, and reports suggest that both are giving the management a headache.

Sesko’s profile is much more customary to what Milanistas are used to. A strong physical build, technically gifted with an eye for goals. Whilst his playing time has been limited in the Bundesliga this season, he has still shown his talent, which shows he is also mentally strong, a needed attribute at the elite level.

Elvis Basanovic, his agent, spoke to Sportklub about his client’s future, and his words have been relayed by Milan News.

“There is interest from two clubs in the Saudi Arabian league, but there is no chance of him going there now: he will not leave Europe. There are Premier League and Serie A teams who want Sesko, yes… But RB Leipzig are also doing everything they can to keep the player with a very good proposal.”

  1. You did not cite the most important part of what the agent said: “Clubs in England and Italy want him…but in Italy they can’t afford him”.

    1. We aren’t getting Sesko or Zirkzee…it’s just media speculation or Redbird trying to fein interest to look like they are really trying.

Chelsea, Arsenal and Man United want a new no9, so I personally think we are in the realms of Scamacca, Jonathan David, or perhaps even a Hoijland if Man Utd go for a new one:

A curve ball for me would be Mason Greenwood. There is the nasty history of his personal life but he has been cleared of that now. Before all that he was on a trajectory to stardom

      1. The case was dropped because his girlfriend dropped the case which necessarily doesnt mean it didnt happen either.
I’d stay far away from him. considering how much people over the years has been against acquiring icardi who “only” started an affair with his friends wife i wonder why greenwood is of interest to anyone.
I can see one positive though and that is that the players most likely wouldn’t bring their wifes and girlfriends to the training ground 😀

        1. I agree, stay away from him!

The case may have been dropped but there was ample evidence including audio recordings of his abuse.
Milan is a family, and a club with great image across the world. We have many female fans as well as female teams within the club.
It would be disrespectful to them to hire such a person.
There are more important things than football!

          1. I agree 100%, and he could only be signed if innocence was unequivocal, we are a first class club.

I know people in the football world and this is more common than you think, it’s naive to think other players haven’t been doing similar…greenwood got caught

        2. That’s not strictly true, he’s still with her and they have a baby together. There was a small 10 second clip of him saying stuff which could easily be ‘roleplay’…the police dropped it on the basis of additional evidence coming to light. Let’s not forget Ched Evans too. These celebrity cases are never cut and dry…

He’s not my preferred option by a long shot but we can’t compete for the big boys like Sesko and Zirkzee

          1. What a small time attitude. This isn’t a small time club. Greenwood doesn’t have the talent to play for Milan. He wouldn’t do any better than Jovic. He certainly wouldn’t be a starter.

Putting aside anything about his troubles, he just wouldn’t cut it. This is the type of player Monza would sign. Not Milan.

          2. Well milan has already had kluivert and robinho who had allegations against them and to my knowledge robinho is currently serving a 9 year sentence for what he did while playing for us.

Well just because they whent back to eachother doesnt mean it didnt happen. Theres a lot of battered wifes around who ends up going back to their dominating husbands because they simply lost faith and confidence in themselves. Did he do it ? i dont know but i certainly wouldnt want him in milan regardless of talent. In the end i respect your views even if i disagree with them.

      2. Mason Greenwood… lmao… you have to be kidding me. The guy is a hack. And witnesses didn’t want to testify anymore against him, didn’t mean he really was cleared. The authorities dropped charges because they didn’t have enough evidence.

Greenwood’s attitude on and off the pitch is not good, and his stats are nothing to write home about. Just another mediocre English striker. If we were serious, we would get Sesko.

        1. You have clearly never seen him play……

As to the rest of your post, we can’t afford the sort of players you are after…..not only are they too expensive but bidding wars will ensue

        2. Small time? Are Manchester United small time? Go look at his goals for sure tied from 2019- 2021 when he was 18 years old. Of it wasn’t for his personal life he’d be a starter for one of the biggest clubs in the world right now in Man Utd…

        3. Bro you’re delusional if you’re saying Greenwood is mediocre🤣🤣🤣
Dude was on his way to stardom and was balling under Solskjaer for Pre-COVID United
But i agree he already tainted his image
