Fatto Quotidiano: Seven players could leave Milan this summer as another revolution awaits

This summer, AC Milan could revolutionise once again in the mercato with several players potentially able to leave.

There has been a lot of talk about what the summer holds for Milan and it appears that it will be another few months of uncertainty for the Rossoneri. Last summer, it was a restart for the club and whilst it won’t be to the same extent this year, there will be a lot of movement.

Indeed, several players can and will depart.

Milan could see seven depart

As Fatto Quotidiano reports, via Radio Rossonera, there are at least seven players who can leave. So, whilst not as extreme, a level of change will still take place.

In the defence, Fikayo Tomori will be allowed to leave if his contract hasn’t been renewed. He is not alone in this regard, though. His fellow ex-Chelsea teammates, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christian Pulisic also sit in the same position. If they do not renew or show signs of doing so, they can leave the club.

Christian Nkunku, Santiago Gimenez and Niclas Fullkrug could face similar situations. The German will leave and head back to West Ham, whilst both of the Rossoneri-owned duo are in need of a turnaround for their futures.

Finally, Rafael Leao has questions about his future. He is no longer unsellable and the Diavolo’s management will listen to and consider offers this summer.

Arguably still a reset, given the players that could depart, even if it is less extreme numbers-wise.

  1. It’s a bit crazy to think that there is a possibility that we lose our entire attack this summer.
Füllkrug is certainly not going to be maintained, especially that he is on loan.
Nkunku is a huge dissapointment and would probably be asked to leave.
There are articles that Milan would be willing to listen to offers for Leão and I don’t think the last game persuaded him to stay.
Pulišić might ask to leave depending on the situation.
I wasn’t really aware that anyone has asken Giménez to leave but I could see that happening.

  2. This is RedBird at its finest – buy and sell without truly upgrading. 4th year running the team isn’t better than when it won the Scudetto, in fact it has gotten worse given the results.

But hey, it doesn’t matter. Gerry isn’t trying to improve this club. He’s just trying to maintain the status quo until all the ducks are in a row and he can sell it off to someone who actually gives a f**k.

So until then, my expectations for this team and the mercato are relatively low.

  3. Basically everyone in our squad could leave Milan in the summer. So, what’s new? If the right offer comes, even Furlani’s mother is for sale.
