CM: ‘Several players’ disappointed by sacking of ‘professional’ Tare

There were several figures at AC Milan that were disappointed by Igli Tare’s sacking, including many of the players.

Gerry Cardinale didn’t take long to make big changes after the Cagliari loss. The owner of the club has removed four key figures from the management, sacking Massimiliano Allegri, Igli Tare, Giorgio Furlani and Geoffrey Moncada. From the current structure, only Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Massimo Calvelli remain.

Discontent over Tare’s sacking

Calciomercato.com write how this is ‘day zero after the managerial earthquake’. Tare was sacked by RedBird after just one season, despite having a three-year contract worth €800,000 net per season.

He’s one of the four figures that will pay the price for failing to qualify for next season’s Champions League and for several very expensive signings that haven’t delivered as expected.

On the morning of May 26th, Tare went to Casa Milan to clear out his desk and office, feeling a mixture of disappointment and regret over how things went at his boyhood club.

The same sentiment is shared by several players and collaborators who have had the opportunity to work with the Albanian manager this season. The widespread opinion is that he is a serious and capable professional who deserved to stay at least another season.

  1. Don’t nobody cares what any of the players have to say. Whoever is disappointed can follow him out the door

  2. I’ll tell you who is dissapointed. Parasites like Mexican Gimenez, Loftus Chick, Estupinian, Jashari..

    1. Yep I am sure Gimenez will be mourning the person who tried to sell him in front of the reporters right before his first match of the season, even though he was the only striker in the squad – and to swap him for the sensational player Dovbyk. This only boosted the ego of the player through the roof.

    2. Gimenez was acquired before Tare. I guess you don’t even have idea of the stages in the season 2025 – 2026. What a clown 🤡

  3. Notice how nobody is disappointed over Allegri getting sacked lmao?
Tare got screwed over, especially by Allegri who lied to him saying he was gonna play 4-3-3 and then immediately changed to his 3-5-2 bs when he came, and then proceeded to basically permabench Ricci and Jashari and play them out of position
Giving them the ‘ol Van Gaal Riquelme treatment which I wish there would be some kind of law against managers being spoiled brats and ruining player’s careers like this

Feel bad for him, but it is what it is

    1. The stories people come up with. Yes, Allegri that plays 3-5-2, told him otherwise so he gets players he doesn’t need. 😂😂😂😂😂

      1. Stop lying
Tare said we were gonna play possession-oriented 4-3-3 before pre-season last year
He said that he and Allegri had talked and agreed on it, only for Allegri to turn into a snake against him and go back to his 3-5-2 bs

        1. Interesting. I thought they started with a 3-5-2 even in preseason. I’m not sure so correct me if I’m wrong.

          1. No, the manager that has played 3-5-2 told Tare he will play 4-3-3 and shot himself in the leg because due to that Tare got the players he doesn’t need for 3-5-2. Some of the people here are beyond delusional, could be complete lunatics.

          1. “Google it, these interviews are still on the internet.”

Where? There isn’t a single interview of Tare saying this. If you halfwits miss understood something, it doesn’t mean it was said. 😀 All of you know it but nobody can show that interview? Milan played 3-5-2 in pre season. You are saying that it wasn’t evident which formation will be played and Allegri lied to Tare so he doesn’t get the players he needs? Is that it? Stop being a clown.

        1. How am I defending anyone? Do you have anything inside your head? 😂😂😂 I guess being re*arded is “classic” for you.

  4. In all honesty Tare did his job, sold players at good price which we normally have not done in years, then he got player in he could,, and considering Furlani being the final say and also Ibra in a mix he did well.

For me, fine it’s cleaning the house and fresh start but somehow knowing Tare is a professional he would have been valuable.

Lads just remember this sweap has been in work’s for a while, it does not happen in a day. I have some information but not sure which way the club will go yet, it depends on some factors. Each one of those constellation ns includes a sporting director so Tare had to go regardless, he is collateral damage.

Things are looking g good though, just do not trust all you read, inside talk is completely different from what press are pushing out now

  5. There is no room for an advisor who cannot work to build the team but rather has a critical advisory role in the team to dismantle, change and create a squad overhaul which is totally nonsense so the logic behind Ibra’s role is very suspect..

      1. Hey hey, is this the level of debate and argument. Gypsy really?

Don’t you know that in 60’s and 70’s that what they use to call Italy in the rest of Europe. Thanks god that stopped, but now you use this?

In my experience that is done when one does not have an argument. So please by all means say anything you want about Ibra but it’s not right to use the word gypsy. We are all different but at the end of the day humans

      2. That legend you call a gypsy led this club to it’s last 2 Scudettos. Notice they didn’t win anything in between in the almost 10 years he was gone. Show some respect. Especially since you would never have the courage to say that to his face. Everyone is a tough guy behind a keyboard.

    1. I agree, i’m worried about Zlatan being involved since he was heavily involved in the rebuild after Maldini. He is more responsible for this current squad than Tare in my opinion. I don’t mind replacing Tare either when we are creating a new backroom staff. But we need a clear hierarchy, one person with the final say and like minded people around him in order to create a identity that is recognizable. This sheit we have now with all off them involved in the sporting side, Zlatan, Furlani, Maconda and Tare its impossible for anyone to know wh at is going on

  6. As a fun you always have some kind of hope that certain events are for the good of the club. But in reality, Redbird has not and will not invest a penny in this club. They will be fine with us being midtable for 5-6 years until a new stadium is build, and than they will sell. So the Curva should be more proactive this time around, as this F.OUT things are few years late.

    1. Sure, they’re fine with 5th and 6th, that’s why they sacked everyone! Won’t invest money? Do you think the money they paid to buy the club came out of thin air? Buffoon!

      1. Red bird brought foffana, gimenez and nkunku. Bought jashari and ricci . All these players were not free. They are spending just they didn’t have d right people to manage d funds well. Then they made the terrible mistake of appointing allegri

  7. Actually it was a bit weird decision to fire Tare. The only explanation is that he’d strongly recommended Allegri so he paid his price like Max

  8. Let the players know that all of the fans are disgusted at them. You get paid freakin millions and can’t beat bottom table teams. You are Pisa players , not Milan players.

  9. For those that state opinions based on how they feel today or how the weather is here are the facts. I am not going to comment. There is more money spent, on repaying the loans and debt of the club, fixing the finance, stadium project and so on. This part is on players only.

    Season,Gross Buy (€),Gross Sell (€),Net Balance (€)

    2023/24,~132M,~124M,-8M
    2024/25,~140M,~110M,-30M
    2025/26,~170M,~176M,+6M

    Totals,~504M,~421M,~-83M

  10. Based on those numbers, this guy Tare who had no clue what he was doing, was net +, and I have to say getting Modric in, and even those flops that are in their first season is not too bad. This is why I think we needed another season with him. Having said that, if you have inside information like I do, this is not about Tare’s work and professionalist but rather some new constalations that are being considered by the club.

Get some popcorn and enjoy the show. We are in good hands. I personally will enjoy the silence once the next moves come and our team performs again, instead of praises from the same people here that jumpo to every move we make.

  11. The clubs biggest issue is the owner. He let Ibra and furlani undermine every manager and backstab each other to get Gerry’s attention. Now Ibra has won but maybe for another year.
Max is a solid manager, pragmatic yes and conservative for sure but he knows what it takes to build a winning team. If left alone and some autonomy in picking players he would have done just that.
Tare is another solid DS but again chopped at the knees by that vermin furlani.
The trouble is the culture gerry created is toxic to a manager and to be able to survive at this club you have to exert dominance and undermine your way to stay.
This is a recipe for disaster and for 4 years it’s been exactly that.
Gerry listens to the wrong people like Billy Bean, Ibra, Furlani and Moncada.
He’s not clever enough to know this is Europe and a European sport which he knows nothing about.
He broke up a winning team and is doesn’t know who to ask to rebuild another one.
The good team he had with max and Tare he just fired to keep Ibra who as a director/executice can’t find his own ass with his 2 hands.
    God Hell is all

    1. All true. It’s sad that so many so called Milan fans are so naive and foolish not to see it. I mean there are people defending the bosnian clown, calling him a legend. Hell, there are people who defend Gerry. That’s how pathetic it has become within the community as a whole. It’s ultimately why under RedBird the stadium feels like a theatre, filled with tourists and influencers.

      1. Not how it works thought, I think the vast majority of supporters dislike Garry, but they are all like myself Milan fans first of all, Garry or not I’ll be here.

Another thing I’ve noticed is alot of people have expectation that is not in line with reality. For some of us reality have hit long ago and we are accepted the position we are in. That is not to say we can’t have a exiting team, can’t build to get better or compete. But this idea we will turn in to golden era Madrid will never come back, even with the richest owners in the world our league would still generate nothing compared to some others.

  12. if the rumors are true and we get Ragnick as SD and Iraola as a coach, I think that’s already an upgrade.

Modric is not gonna play another year. Estupinan, Tomori, RLC, Odogu, Fulkrug need upgrades. that’s 6 transfers already. bringing Camarda and Comotto would make sense to have necessary depth (Coppa Italia and Europa League would give them enough time to grow, heck Camarda was called to National Team; let’s hope for the best).

    ???
    Gimenez/Camarda

    Leao – Rabiot – Pulisic
Brahim Diaz* – Nkunku – Saelemakers

    Fofana/???/Comotto – Ricci/Jashari

    Pavlovic – Bartesaghi – Senesi* – ???
    A. Robertson* – Gabbia – DeWinter – Athekame

    Maignan
    Torriani, Terracciano

If Cardinale hopefully doesn’t reduce the transfer budget due to missed UCL, we have 40M (-25M for Diaz from loan clauses).

Chukwueze (50-50 to be bought by Fulham), Musah, Terracciano, Estupinan, Tomori, RLC; would give ~100M.
So best case, we have 140 for RB, CDM, ST or worst 100M.

We also have Cisse, Zeroli and Bondo. Iraola might give one of them a chance.

  13. The players should be disappointed in themselves, his fate was literally in their hands. If they had got UCL good chance Allegri and Tare stay on for at least another season. Blame yourselves
