Report: Sevilla ahead of Milan in contest to sign Eintracht Frankfurt defender

By Euan Burns -

La Liga side Sevilla are ahead of both AC Milan and AS Roma in the race to sign Evan N’Dicka from Eintracht Frankfurt in the near future, a report claims.

As has been reported in Spain by Mundo Deportivo (via Calciomercato.com), it is Sevillathat have made the best progress towards signing the defender who is the target of many clubs and was so in the summer too.

There is so much interest in him because his contract is set to run out on June 30, 2023. That means he can be signed on a free transfer in the summer or for a fairly reduced fee in January because the Bundesliga side have no bargaining power.

Sevilla have been mostly looking at signing him in the summer on a free transfer but the chance of a move in January cannot be ruled out. After signing Malick Thiaw, Milan may not come back in for the defender.

  1. If he wanted to come to Milan, he would have came this summer when Milan was willing to pay for him and Frankfurt was willing to sell. He said NO, which basically means he already had a team in mind where he wants to go to as a free agent next summer, and its not Milan

    1. Agreed totally. And anyway. If a player picks Sevilla over Milan. Then it’s one who doesnt take their career seriously. They are welcome to him.

    2. Big N’Dicka! Hard to believe it’s 18th place Sevilla, who at best will not qualify for Europe and at worst is risking relegation this season. This reeks of the EPL.
