SM: Why Shakhtar winger Mudryk has rejected Milan and Juventus for Leverkusen

Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk has refused the offers of Milan and Juventus in favour of a move to the Bundesliga, we have learned.

As our colleagues at SempreMilan.it, Mudryk has rejected the advances of both Milan and Juventus as the 21-year-old winger has no intention of going to play in Serie A. He only has the Bundesliga and specifically Bayer Leverkusen in mind for the future.

The winger was one of the candidates for Milan to strengthen the right lane given Junior Messias and Samu Castillejo are set to leave as things stand while Juventus had tested the waters while looking at an alternative to Angel Di Maria.

Mudryk – who had 2 goals and 9 assists in 19 appearances across all competitions last season before the Russian invasion halted play – wants a medium-level club where he can play continuously rather than a big club like Milan or Juventus.

Instead, Milan are looking at Berardi and Zaniolo, while the Bianconeri could raise their offer for Di Maria, who should leave PSG on a free transfer.
