Any hopes that AC Milan have of landing Sander Berge from Sheffield United have been dealt a blow, if a report from England is to be believed.
It was reported last summer by both Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky and TV2 in his native Norway that Milan are keen on signing Berge as they look into options to reinforce the midfield that match with the club’s vision of developing young talent.
Then, the link re-emerged earlier this month through CalcioMercatoWeb who stated that Berge is still on Milan’s radar, but now Yorkshire Live – a source close to Sheffield United – have poured cold water on things.
They claim that the former Genk man is content with his current situation at Sheffield United and he wants to play in the Premier League, something that he could very well achieve given the Blades are in the top two of the Championship with quite a gap to third.
Keep the money, get Firmino for stability at 10. He’s a free agent in the summer
Naah, not gonna happen. Milan are superhappy with their perfect Liverpool scoop from last season.
Why would he leave Sheffield Utd for a smaller club?
