It must have been a strange Sunday for Igli Tare, who saw a couple of his signings deliver in a crucial moment while exit rumours swirl.
La Gazzetta dello Sport write how Tare has spent a week hearing rumours of revolutions, and seemingly all of them involve him leaving. Everyone believes Tare is on the way out, yet Milan won in their last away game of the season with his signings being the key.

A surreal Sunday
The best was Christopher Nkunku, the forward Tare signed at the end of August. The second goal was scored by Zachary Athekame, whom he signed from Young Boys to everyone’s surprise. Even Ardon Jashari, the big gamble of his season, played a good game.
Nkunku deserves a separate mention because he has spent the whole campaign being labelled a flop. The end of the season confirms the theory that the performance of the man with the balloon celebration is directly proportional to the trust he receives.
It happened between December and January, when he was a starter. It happened in these last two matchdays, as a substitute against Atalanta and from the start at Marassi. In between there were many bleak days, yet it feel like he has earned a start in the finale against Cagliari.
Back to Tare, he hasn’t received any official communication from the club regarding next season, so he’s waiting. What else could he do? Cardinale’s statement from Thursday’s interview, however, will stick in everyone’s minds.
“In the last three seasons, we’ve spent more than any other team in Serie A. Maybe we haven’t spent it wisely. I give myself a higher grade for the money I’ve invested than for how we’ve spent it,” he said.
Tare is in charge of one of those three transfer windows, which included the signings of Jashari and Nkunku for over €20m in a €150m mercato. In Genoa, he sat next to Cardinale: on one side, him, on the other, Massimo Calvelli. They’ll meet again to discuss the future.

Only one who needs to leave is Ibrahimovic
He showed the list of players who Allegri made for Cardinale for sale.
He’s not the only who needs to leave, what about furlani? What about scaroni, kirovski, moncada?
Tare isn’t competent so far, Furlani only stays if he keeps his face out of the sporting side altogether. Zlatan needs to be axed.
For over €20m? Did you mean, 70 million euros?
