Antonio Silva is not a target for AC Milan at present despite the widespread reports, at least according to a source in Portugal.
This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport featured a double-page spread about Milan’s advances towards signing Silva. It was believed that a deal could be closed quickly and for an outlay of around €20m.

According to A Bola, Milan ‘pose no threat’ to the relationship between Benfica and Antonio Silva. There is nothing concrete between the Rossoneri and the Portuguese international, despite the news coming from Italy.
It was also mentioned that the deal was being handled by agent Jorge Mendes, who allegedly took advantage of the negotiations for Gonçalo Ramos to try and engineer a double package.
A Bola report though that Milan are not looking at António Silva, at least in the short term. They are not willing to pay the asking price, especially since Ruben Amorim ‘has other priorities’.
Sources in Italy mentioned an agreement between Milan and the player over a five-year contract, with an annual salary of around €3m net per year, but this information has also not been confirmed.
Despite Benfica’s wishes to extend his deal, António Silva’s inner circle has not ceased searching for alternatives abroad. The player’s family views a move to a more important league favourably, as the centre-back enters the last year of his contract on July 1st.

silva is kinda risky bc he got a serious injury that u dont know how he will continue his form when he was out Araujo stepped up. apart from his injury he is top talent if someone willing to help him im sure he will be good addition. also benfica fans dont hate their graduated players so i doubt benfica fans dont want him u just dont like him which ofc thats your opinion and thats ok
