Sino-Europe Sports have released a statement after it came clear that Paolo Maldini had rejected their offer to become the new technical director.
Maldini posted a statement earlier today on Facebook, explaining why he has decided to reject Marco Fassone’s (Milan CEO) offer. Sino-Europe Sport have now also released a statement on the situation.
“With regard to the items related to the future of AC Milan Board of Directors, Sino-Europe Sports intends to make clear that the issue is currently not on the agenda. The priority for SES is now the closing of the acquisition of AC Milan.”
“We are sorry to hear the decision of Paolo Maldini regarding our proposal, because we firmly believe that soon he will realize how much our project to AC Milan is winning.”
