Six Milan players will miss Benevento encounter if carded against Lazio – the list

By Isak Möller -

Milan are currently gearing up to face Lazio on Monday evening, eager to redeem themselves after squandering a 1-0 lead against Sassuolo. Certainly, they can’t afford to drop any points.

Luckily, Stefano Pioli will be able to rely on a strong team even if a few players were at risk of suspension last time out. Hakan Calhanoglu was one of them, but he managed to stay out of trouble and also scored that wonderful goal.

For Monday’s clash, though, six players will have to be a bit careful in order to avoid a one-game ban (via MilanNews): Hakan Calhanoglu, Samu Castillejo, Diogo Dalot, Ante Rebic, Alexis Saelemaekers and Theo Hernandez, all one card away from suspension.

The game after that one is against Benevento, meaning Milan can probably afford to be without some of their players. After Benevento, it’s Juventus and they certainly don’t want their key players out for that game. We might see some tactics involved, therefore.
