Sky: All change from a month ago as Milan only have one injury – the latest from Milanello

AC Milan are close to being able to call upon a fully fit squad, according to a report, with more players almost fully recovered.

Peppe Di Stefano spoke to Sky Italia (via MilanNews) about the Rossoneri’s injury situation, stating that compared to a month ago it is now a whole other story. At the beginning of January, Stefano Pioli was forced to deal with seven or eight absences, but now things are looking much healthier.

Simon Kjaer and Ismael Bennacer have return to training with the group and in the next few hours there will also be the return of Sandro Tonali, and at that point only Brahim Diaz will be missing.

Ahead of a complicated second half of the month, this is a huge boost to the team, who will face Inter and Roma. Those will be arguably the two biggest games of the season so far, and a real test of the team’s title credentials, with a Europa League Round of 32 tie either side of the Inter game too.
