Sky: Barcelona defender happy to join Milan as talks reopen – ‘all the conditions’ for a successful operation

AC Milan appear to be pushing forward with a deal to sign Barcelona left-back Junior Firpo as the player is open to the move, a report claims.

Gianluca Di Marzio spoke to Sky Italia during his programme Calciomercato – L’Originale’ (via MilanNews) about Firpo’s situation and confirmed that Milan have reignited their interest 24-year-old, who they ‘already contacted in January to become the deputy to Theo Hernandez’.

Not only that, but the journalist reports that the player is now open to the idea of joining Milan and the Rossoneri are keen on closing a deal, with ‘all the conditions’ to suggest that the former Real Betis man could arrive.

It depends a bit on the formula however, as Milan would like him on loan with an option to buy and it remains to be seen if Barcelona will accept. Fabrizio Romano also reports that Milan have re-opened talks with Barcelona for Firpo.
