Bologna have set a high price tag for centre-back Takehiro Tomiyasu amid reports that AC Milan are interested, it is claimed.
The Rossoneri are desperate to secure a central defender to reinforce a department which is very stretched at the moment, and it was reported last night by Gianluca Di Marzio that Tomiyasu is a new target.
The 21-year-old was one of the Rossoblu’s more impressive performers last Monday night at San Siro despite the fact his team lost 2-0, and Milan have taken note of his exploits.
According to Di Marzio’s latest update for Sky (via MilanLive), Milan have Wesley Fofana o Saint-Etienne at the top of their wish list, but the problem at the moment is the high evaluation that the Ligue 1 side have set.
Tomiyasu is indeed an alternative, but Di Marzio has revealed that Bologna would have to receive a bid in the region of €20-25million to even consider selling, a very high amount and one close to that set by Saint-Etienne for Fofana.
To ublock the situation, Paqueta’s farewell is needed, so we will see if Lyon will make a new attempt in the last week.
