Sky: Brahim Diaz wants to stay – Milan will negotiate as Real Madrid’s stance emerges

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan must sit down with Real Madrid to speak about the future of Brahim Diaz, whose loan deal expires at the end of next month.

Sky report that qualification for the next edition of the Champions League is vital to Milan not only from a sporting prestige point of view but also because of the money it brings in and the boost to the transfer budget that results.

The bid is to strengthen the team and there will be countless negotiations over an endless list of targets, but the Rossoneri already have one meeting penned in their agenda: one with Real Madrid over Brahim Diaz.

The Spaniard wants to stay and the Rossoneri do not want to part with him, while Los Blancos are unlikely to stand in his way. However, a reasonable amount will have to be agreed upon to make him a permanent Milan player after three years on loan.

He will likely start against Juventus on Sunday and he hopes to be decisive just like he was two years ago when he scored the opening goal en route to a 3-0 win that was a huge step towards a Champions League return. He hopes to do the same on Sunday, against the same opponents on the same stage.

  1. Total BS news diaz does not want to stay in Milan has he said several times over the 3 years of is loan with us that he wants to return to Madrid and AC Milan does not even want to pay the amount of the supposed option to buy of 22 million whit Real having a buy-back clause of 27 million and if it was true we want to buy him there would be no talk about a new meeting at the end of the season to discuss what we offer and what Real want and more why would be news saying that we have already have a verbal agrement with Kamada if we are so keen in keeping diaz!

  2. Is Pioli that wants to keep this garbage such has CDK only plays the last 10/15 minutes of a game and Adli does not play so that pioli can keep given to much play time to is puppy and the two players we own almost dont play!

  3. I’d keep him, for 10m. Maybe he becomes a more consistent threat on the right.

20m on this guy is pure madness.

I’ll say it again, why so much faith in this guy. Daniel Maldini would have changed 4 games if some faith had been shown in him. I am sure it is the same with Adli.

A good operator know when to cut and run, he doesn’t double down on what doesn’t work out of blind faith / hubris.

    1. Daniel? Really? He’s not even a regular starting 11 at the club such as Spezia. What can he really do at Milan.

  4. Yeah you want to stay at AC Milan but who the heck want to pay 30m euro for you that incosistent while AC Milan can get kamada for free with statistic more goal in bundesliga . It is no brain choice . 30 m euro ( Real Madrid price tag for Brahim ) vs 5m euro signing fee for kamada

    1. Agreed. Kamada should be signed ASAP and the Diaz chapter should be closed. Spend the money on a striker and RW. Any leftover should be spent on a DM to help out Tonali/Bennacer/Krunic.
