Sky: Cagliari the latest club to ask about young Milan striker

By Oliver Fisher -

Lorenzo Colombo is a player that is increasingly in demand among Serie A clubs it seems and Cagliari are the latest to move, a report claims.

After a season in which he scored six goals on loan at Lecce to help them secure their status as a Serie A side for another season at least, Colombo has been linked with another season-long loan move to the likes of Salernitana, Genoa and Sassuolo.

According to what is being reported by Sky, Cagliari have also moved concretely for Colombo. The Sardinians are hoping to get the green light from the Rossoneri, and while the formula of a potential deal is not mentioned, it can be presumed to be a loan.

Colombo is currently with the first team on their USA tour and he has managed to get some good playing time so far as Stefano Pioli seeks to evaluate him before making a decision with the management.

  1. And from that small amount of time he had, the lad definitely looked promising. It’ll be smart to send him on a year or two seasons loan and then get him. back in the squad, if he continues to develop into a formidable striker!
Something similar should be done with CDK, to be sent in an offensive team, we heard LaDea are interested, but there are other teams that play offensive football, if we can’t loan him to them. Teams like Sassuolo, Torino (Jurić is a great coach for players like him), etc…
Cuz staying in Milan, just for the sake of getting very few minutes each, or every 2nd game, won’t do any good to anyone!
