Davide Calabria is back training with the AC Milan squad but it remains unlikely that he will start tomorrow against Cagliari, it is claimed.
As reported by Peppe Di Stefano live on Sky (via MilanNews), Calabria has returned to training with the rest of the squad on the eve of tomorrow’s game against Cagliari and has therefore recovered.
However, it is unlikely that the Rossoneri captain will get a start in Sardinia and it is more likely that he will return to the starting line-up on Saturday against Lazio at San Siro.
That means the responsibility will likely fall on the shoulders of Alessandro Florenzi, who started at left wing-back during the 1-0 victory against Hellas Verona on Saturday afternoon.
He should switch back to his favoured right side for the game against the Rossoblu tomorrow, with Calabria not being risked and instead being conserved for the Lazio and Dortmund games to come.
Florenzi is better than Clabaria so I don’t see it as a disadvantage for Milan
