Gerry Cardinale is officially the new owner of AC Milan through his company RedBird Capital and the American was present at San Siro for the derby win last night. Today, he also visited the training ground.
It was the perfect start for Cardinale’s reign as Milan managed to beat city rivals Inter by three goals to two. There is great optimism for the future and the American businessman is surely feeling a lot of responsibility after witnessing the fans last night.
Today, as reported by Sky Italia (via MilanNews), Cardinale was present at Milanello for the training session along with Maldini, Massara, Gazidis, Furlani and Gordon Singer. He met the team and congratulated them on the win.
Cardinale is now expected to head back to the United States and conduct his business from there. On Tuesday evening, Milan will face RB Salzburg in the opening UCL group stage match away from home.
