Sky: Chelsea outcast Tomori set for Milan medical – could feature vs. Atalanta

Milan are closing in on their third signing this transfer window, having already secured the likes of Soualiho Meite and Mario Mandzukic. Fikayo Tomori will be the next one, as we confirmed already this morning.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio (via MilanNews.it), who spoke live on Sky Italia this evening, the English centre-back is just one step away from joining the Rossoneri. He wasn’t even called up for Chelsea’s 2-0 loss against Leicester this evening.

He will arrive in Milan between today and tomorrow, and the medicals should take place on Thursday. This will allow him to make a few training sessions for the club, meaning the latter can call him up for the game against Atalanta on Saturday.

This is the goal, as Di Marzio concludes, and it will be very interesting to see Tomori in this exciting Milan team. As we reported, the formula of the deal is a loan with an option to buy at €25-30m.
