Sky: Complete breakdown in communications between Gazidis and directors – the latest

By Oliver Fisher -

There is currently no contact between the management side of AC Milan and CEO Ivan Gazidis, according to the latest from Sky Italia.

There has been a public fallout between director Zvonimir Boban and Gazidis over the decision by the latter to discuss a deal with Ralf Rangnick to take over as head coach and sporting director next season. This is expected to result in Boban leaving the club, with an announcement reportedly imminent.

However, Sky (via MilanLive) are reporting that the breakdown in communications between the sporting side and Ivan Gazidis is total. There is no longer any dialogue between the parties, but each of them are continuing their work as normal, with Maldini and Frederic Massara at Milanello to follow the team’s training.

Therefore, there is a clear and incurable division. Elliott Management has chosen Gazidis and to entrust him with all the power. And it is the former Arsenal who, in the coming months, will give way to the new technical project, led by Ralf Rangnick, while Boban could return to FIFA.

There are no more doubts, we are going in this direction, and the picture will soon be defined.
