Sky: ‘Concrete talks’ – Abraham still in contention for Milan after Morata capture

Whilst AC Milan had clarity over their first-choice striker this summer, they now face a decision about his deputy, and a report from Germany suggests that talks are in place with Tammy Abraham.

After Joshua Zirkzee, it was Alvaro Morata, and there were no doubts about this, even if reports suggested the contrary. Questions are in place about the shift from the Dutchman to the Spaniard, given they are two separate profiles, in terms of football and age, but Milan made their choice with confidence.

It does not stop there on the forward line, though. Instead, there is a goal to add another striker to the mix, and questions are swirling about who that could be with Tammy Abraham and Niclas Fullkrug leading the race.

Recently, reports have suggested that the German striker is the preference for the Rossoneri, but a report from Sky Germany (via Milan News) has maybe contradicted those claims. The German branch reports that Abraham is one of ‘many options’. However, there have been the ‘first, concrete’ talks between the parties, and most importantly, they are ongoing.

It remains to be seen which choice will be preferred, but given the Abraham operation could be discounted through player exchanges, it could be a better value deal.
