This morning, Sky Italia journalist Alessandro Sugoni spoke on air about AC Milan’s interest in Angel Correa, providing the latest updates on the matter.
The Argentine striker is still the priority for Milan, despite the tough negotiations with Atletico Madrid. However, a lot depends on the departure of Andre Silva, which is yet to materialize.
The situation is now pretty clear: if Boban and Maldini want the player, then they will have to satisfy Atletico’s demands. Thus far, the Rossoneri have gone as high as €45m including bonuses, while the Spanish side are asking for €55m including bonuses.
This week could be decisive, as Maldini could fly to Madrid in an attempt to unlock the negotiations. In the meantime, Milan will continue to work on offloading a few players, such as Diego Laxalt and Andre Silva.
