Indeed, there has been great concern about the home games this season as Milan clearly need the support of their fans in the big clashes. When you face teams like Lecce it’s fine, with all due respect, but it changes quickly when the major teams come to visit.
Curva Sud to chant again
Thankfully, as reported by Peppe Di Stefano of Sky Italia this evening (via Francesco Nasato), Curva Sud have decided to chant and sing during the Milan-Napoli clash this Sunday. Whether that’s thanks to a solution, or just the need to support the team, is unknown for now.
The Curva Sud should make an announcement before the game, as they have done earlier this season, so then we will know more about the situation. However, Milan can now feel even more optimistic about the game.
In total, there will be over 72k fans in the stadium and with the Curva Sud up and running again, the more casual fans will surely sing along as well.
Good. Hope they focus on supporting the team and let all the other things rest. San Siro is a better place when they support the team. Not when they excercise their other practices. But they´re part of the clubs heritage and should be part of the clubs future as well.
