Sky: De Ketelaere already has agreement with Atalanta over four-year deal – the latest

By Oliver Fisher -

By making the switch from AC Milan to Atalanta over the summer, Charles De Ketelaere was able to join the team that he made his number on priority.

Sky (via Radio Rossonera) confirm that Atalanta were De Ketelaere’s first choice destination and there is already an agreement in place between the club and the player over personal terms if his loan becomes permanent.

La Dea agreed a loan worth €3m and an option to buy set at €23m plus €4m in potential bonuses, making a total of around €30m. There is also a 10% resale clause in Milan’s favour as well, while Milan paid €32m plus €3m in bonuses to sign him from Club Brugge.

An agreement has already been found – in the event he moves to Bergamo permanently – over a future four-year contract. He has certainly started well too, with a goal and an assist to his name plus bright performances.

  1. So CdK was never the problem as he is playing well at Atalanta
Some ,,fans” with no brain should apologize
And the Milan board failed again with no buy back option..

  2. Have u seen the goal and the assist? It was, for the lack of better words, accidental.. The man was given a chance and he failed.. Even a failure like Bojan Krkic has more goals than him

    1. You haven’t even seen the highlights and you came to comment here.
      Otherwise you can’t say that.
You have more time to comment than watch the highlights atleast 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  3. Season still long , i hope he stay healthy and keep scoring goal for atalanta except vs ACM . If he can score more than 10 goal , i think atalanta will activate buy option

  4. Brahim Diaz was 3 seasons with AC Milan and we want to make it permanent but the player want to go back to his old club.

So if CDK really want to try his quality at ACM, just reject it at the end of season, and back to play with ACM.

Maybe as Giroud’s deputy, because a lone striker role might fit him well. He stands at 192cm, technically good, but need to learn to be the lone striker like Zlatan Ibrahimovic or Olivier Giroud.

    1. Milan or coach dont want him to come back. Why will he come back.
Otherwise if he plays well at Milan on his comeback, the Sacking of Maldini is useless.
      Milan management dont want him.

  5. Don’t get bent out of shape when it comes to CDK unless you’re watching him play.

‘The story’ was the lack of scoring involvements when he played for Milan. As is usually the case, the story is wrong, if it’s not limited to half of the picture, it gets distracted by emotion.

The reality was that CDK was at sea as an AM and so 1-sided he could be easily shut out of games.

He looks slightly better playing as a second striker but all of the flaws are still there. He can’t cross the ball with his right foot, he can’t really get around opponents. He struggles with his back to play. He can’t get around players with the ball at his feet.

He’s likely a mid tier Seire A player at best. He might not be even that.

I am in no doubt that we can do better for our 35m. Get almost all of the money back and try again. CDK will never be the player we thought we were getting when we spent the transfer budget on 1 player.
