Some details have emerged regarding the final offer that AC Milan made to Gianluigi Donnarumma before deciding to sign Mike Maignan.
All major sources are reporting that Milan are close to announcing the signing of Mike Maignan from Lille who seems set to become the club’s new number one, with Donnarumma’s contract expiring at the end of next month and everything pointing towards him leaving Milan after nine years.
According to Sky (via MilanNews), Milan’s last offer to Gigio Donnarumma was a two-year deal worth €7m net per season plus €1m in bonuses, with a €20m release clause in the event of non-qualification in the Champions League. You talk about Donnarumma as if he were an ordinary goalkeeper.
