The AC Milan squad seemed disappointed at Milanello today after last night’s potentially damaging 0-0 draw against Cagliari, it is claimed.
Peppe Di Stefano spoke to Sky (via MilanNews) live from Milanello during the broadcast ‘Il Calcio è Servito’ and recalled how back on 22 December 2019, Pioli’s Milan conceded five times in a 5-0 defeat to Atalanta, and if it had been said then that the Rossoneri would secure Champions League a year and a half later against the Bergamo team, Milan would have signed.
Despite this, there is still a lot of apprehension because Milan were first for virtually the entirety of the first half of the season, but then there were several collapses with different reactions. Today at Milanello there is a great sense of disappointment because there was fear yesterday against Cagliari.
Now, Milan have another final chance to put things right and prove they have taken a step forward psychologically.
I urge Milan for this last campaign of 2020/2021 vs Atalanta not to think the result, whether could win, draw, or lose.
Just concentrate on the opponent moves, making good marking, keeping teamwork. No need to hurry. Aware each other position.
