Alessandro Florenzi is just one step away from joining Milan, per the latest reports. The Italian international will be the new right-back deputy for the Rossoneri, who are in advanced talks with Roma.
According to the Roma correspondent of Sky Italia (via MilanNews), Angelo Mangiante, everyone knows that Florenzi has chosen Milan over any other option. Therefore, an agreement is in the pipeline, with the clubs negotiating.
Roma’s sporting director Tiago Pinto is currently in London for other business but once he’s back, the Florenzi matter should be settled. The versatile Italian wants Milan and the latter want his services, so it’s ‘just a matter of time’ per the reporter.
Diogo Dalot was the deputy right-back last season and he was the first choice for this upcoming term as well. Unable to reach an agreement with Man Utd, though, Milan decided to move for the Roma man instead.
