Sky journalist Manuele Baiocchini is predicting that Paulo Fonseca will make further changes to the starting line-up for Saturday’s game against Udinese at San Siro.
A number of new doubts have erupted about this Milan side after they lost both games going into the international break, leading to suggestions that Fonseca is back under pressure and more engineer another turnaround like he did before the derby with Inter.
There have been several reports claiming that the usual starting XI could change, especially given that Theo Hernandez is suspended while a number of players are away on international duty and will arrive back at difference times, then the penalty debacle against Fiorentina didn’t help.
Speaking live outside Casa Milan on Sky, Baiocchini spoke about Milan’s return to training a few days for the game against Udinese, making the prediction that Fonseca will alter things again as he has done a few times already.
“I expect Fonseca to change again, because he has shown that he knows how to do it when needed. And so he surprised everyone a bit in the derby with that 4-2-4, because then in the end he says that nothing has changed, that only the players and their characteristics in the system have changed,” he said (via MilanNews).
“But then we saw that Morata, it’s true that he put him in as an attacking midfielder, he plays as an attacking midfielder, but Morata, in his DNA, has the characteristics of a first striker. So I think it will change again, probably from the next match, with different players.
“Maybe the formation, the base, will remain the same, but in any case depending on the characteristics of the players. For example, if Okafor were to play instead of Abraham, the face of Milan up front will also change.
“I don’t think Morata and Abraham can be used for many more matches up front, also because from what I understood in this week of break, both Abraham and Tomori could be, in inverted commas, punished for what happened in Florence. So I expect a different Milan.”

Are you sure…I beg to differ, Hansi Flik took over Barca about the same time yet he managed to transform that team without issues even with all the injuries. Maybe the issues run a lot deeper then just the players…maybe it’s the mentality of the management and coaches.
Keep both Tomori and Abraham off of the roster for match day. They need to earn their way back onto the pitch. Selfish and detrimental to the cohesiveness of our beloved Milan! ⚫️🔴

Tammy failed to score on a regular basis for years at Chelsea and Roma. At 27 years old, I am quite surprised some people might expect him to achieve much.
That is not true man. Stop with the exaggeration. Abraham did well in his first season at Roma and up until his ACL injury which is a difficult injury to recover from especially getting back to top form.
Just look at Bennacer and Zaniolo for example. I am not a fan of Abraham and I don’t think Milan should sign him at the end of his loan but he is not as bad as you are making him out to be.

Manuele Baiocchini should learn how predictions actually work. You take past behavior and use it for basis for future behavior.
He won’t play okafor up front because atm he is the only available winger sub. And he won’t bench tomori because idk why 2 be honest, i suspect pressure from up top to play that guy.
Udine is where they are because they play compact and aggressive. If we don’t score fast it’s gonna be a bloodbath
There is no pressure from management to play anyone. Pavlovic will get another chance.

Two years ago I hope Milan will play tonali and Daniel on the same Milan pitch. But never materialize. The talent already there but Milan never convince , always search the France players.

I do not know why Tomori is given the blame for catching the ball and giving it to Abraham. He was next to him, and I think he would have given the ball to anybody. It can not be that the guy who catches the ball first decides who to shoot :).
it isnt only that he has been horrible this season espically against fiorentina he was the main reason for that goal and isnt really a nice dude to he screams at teammates and ref and does nothing only thing i like about him is his speed
