Sky reporter explains why Furlani and Moncada were at ‘a very important training session’

By Oliver Fisher -

The full complement of the AC Milan management were present at Milanello today for the final training session on the eve of the game against Cagliari.

During his update live from the training ground, Peppe Di Stefano spoke on Sky (via Radio Rossonera) about ‘a very important training session on a very important eve’ because Milan ‘need to keep up with Inter’s pace’.

For this very reason, the full management were there including CEO Giorgio Furlani, chief scout Geoffrey Moncada and also sporting director Antonio D’Ottavio were there. Everyone was alongside the team not only for lunch but also for the afternoon training session.

Given Cagliari’s poor start to the season a game awaits that ‘seems simple’ but as Di Stefano mentions, playing in Sardinia is ‘never simple’ and rather is a ‘historically complicated match’.

Above all, Milan need to try and keep up with the Nerazzurri, who have won all five games so far this season. Three points separates the sides after Inter’s derby win 10 days ago.

  1. Hopefully we will get a fairly comfortable win tomorrow but as the article reach its conclusion its not really an easy place to play but still i nevertheless expects a victory,

On a sidenote i really want to visit sardinia one day and both see the island and for that matter its ancient ruins. seems very intriguing to me,

  2. I wonder if they are coming to look at Adli. I don’t think that Pioli actually likes Adli (maybe its his haircut). Given that Pioli has sent mixed messages about Adli in the past, maybe they are coming to see for themselves.
