Sky: Gazidis meets Rangnick in Austria to outline Milan’s vision – what was discussed

Ralf Rangnick is getting closer to AC Milan. The German manager, who is expected to lead the youth revolution at the club, recently had a meeting with the Rossoneri about the upcoming plans.

According to Sky Italia, as cited by MilanNews.it, the meeting between Rangnick and CEO Ivan Gazidis took place in Austria. Despite the denials of the club, the role has been defined for the RB Leipzig boss: he will be the manager/sporting director.

During the meeting, the two discussed several topics including the future of some players, such as Hakan Calhanoglu and Gigio Donnarumma who most likely will renew. Then there is Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who most likely will leave.

Although Rangnick hasn’t signed his contract with Milan just yet, it was a meeting to plan for the future. At the end of the season, his arrival could be announced as the Rossoneri don’t want to disturb Stefano Pioli at this time.
