Sky Germany: Milan-linked Manchester City defender in talks with Bayern Munich

By Euan Burns -

Manchester City defender Kyle Walker is now in advanced negotiations with Bayern Munich to join the German champions, despite the serious interest from AC Milan in recent weeks.

As has been reported by Sky Sports Deutschland (via Calciomercato), the English defender is much more keen on heading to Germany rather than Italy.

It always seemed like an ambitious move from Milan given the wages that a player like Walker would command, and it seems the move will not transpire.

Walker has been one of the best right backs in the world for many years at Man City but it seems that Pep Guardiola has little room for him anymore. Walker was left out of the Champions League final starting eleven against Inter and the fact he never came on has reportedly sped up his possible departure.

There has also been interest in him and Riyad Mahrez from the Saudi Pro League recently, but moves in Europe are more likely.

  1. Meanwhile Roma is going for Veratti ans Scamacca. With Ndicka and Auoar already, they are looking to have a really good Mercato…..

    ——————–Scamacca——————

    ————-Auoar——–Dybala————-

    Spinazola—Matic—Veratti—zalewski

This is a scudetto contender for sure!

  2. Walker was left on the bench in the cl final because he had recently had a knock/minor injury or something so he wasnt 100% fit as i remember the danish commentators explaining the matter.

  3. Bulls##t. He’s not linked, he’d be too expensive and we can’t pay his salary. 90% of rumours can be ignored.
