Sky: Giroud has already said yes to Milan’s offer – his agents are at work with Chelsea

Olivier Giroud has accepted AC Milan’s contract offer and now his agents are at work to free him from Chelsea, according to a report.

According to what Gianluca Di Marzio has told Sky Italia (via MilanNews), Giroud has already accepted Milan’s offer of a two-year contract worth €5m gross per season, but what remains is for the 34-year-old striker to free himself from Chelsea because the Rossoneri have no intention of paying a transfer fee to land him.

The agents of the French centre-forward are at work to make sure that the London club honour the commitment that they made with the player: to let him leave on a free transfer to a club abroad. Developments are expected in the coming days regarding the situation while in the meantime Giroud is busy with France at the European Championships as they open their tournament against Germany tonight.
