Sky: Ibra to sign renewal within 10 days – Juve’s interest in Calhanoglu ‘growing stronger’

By Oliver Fisher -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is close to renewing his contract with AC Milan, it is claimed, but Hakan Calhanoglu continues to stall.

According to what is being reported by Sky Italia journalist Manuele Baiocchini on Twitter, Ibrahimovic’s renewal is now one step away, and within 10 days the signature will arrive. He will sign a one-year extension at the same €7m net he currently earns.

There is no news regarding the Calhanoglu saga as the stalemate continues. The journalist adds that there is a €1m distance between offer and demand, with the interest of Juventus ‘growing stronger’.

Juve have been linked with a move for the Turkey international before over the past few months, with the Bianconeri management seemingly keen on the idea of adding a tactically useful player on a free transfer. It is certainly a situation worth monitoring the development of, given the stalling could be a tactic to draw interest from elsewhere.
