Sky: Ibrahimovic likely to end his career in Sweden; Bonaventura will also be let go

AC Milan are likely to bid farewell to experienced duo Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Giacomo Bonaventura in the coming weeks, a report claims.

According to Sky Italia, the Swedish centre-forward – who returned to the field in Ferrara against SPAL on Wednesday night – is unlikely not renew his expiring contract with the AC Milan club beyond 31 August.

Now he is seriously considering the possibility of returning to his home country to end his career with Hammarby , a club in which he also holds 25% of the company shares and where he trained during the lockdown.

Milan will discuss Ibrahimovic and other topics in a meeting with Mino Raiola, including Gianluigi Donnarumma whose contract is expiring in June 2021.

Meanwhile, Giacomo Bonaventura is also set to leave on August 31 as the former Atalanta man seems almost certain to celebrate his 32nd birthday with a new club after six years wearing the red and black of Milan.
